| A short power point presentation will be followed by a Q & A session. Topics include aviation tourism and recreational aviation access with backcountry airstrips. Ron retired from the FAA in 2011 after maintaining the RADAR and other systems at KABQ. He then served as the Aviation Safety and Education Administrator for the NMDOT Aviation Division until 2015, after which he became a volunteer with the New Mexico Pilots Association and the Recreational Aviation Foundation, along with the New Mexico Airstrip Network. He owns and flies a Cessna 182 |
